MEAL TEAM PROGRAM GUIDELINES
CANCELLATION POLICY: Must notify Samira Loganathan at least 48 hours before scheduled date.
Nightly Dinner Teams:
Wednesday Brunch Crews:
Weekend Breakfast Teams:
Plan a menu, purchase your fresh ingredients (please no items from home), and then use the House’s fully stocked kitchen to prepare and serve Dinner (Nightly), Brunch (Wednesdays), or Breakfast (Weekends) to our families.
Meal Team members must be at least 16 years old. Due to the nature of our House at this time, only 3 volunteers under the age of 18 are permitted per meal team. If you are a teen (aged 16-18) interested in serving dinner or breakfast, please note that you MUST have at least one adult (21+) in your group. The adult MUST serve as the meal team leader.
COOKIE CREW PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Cookies Crews:
Bring your favorite recipe and fresh ingredients (please no items from home), and use our kitchen to bake tasty sweet treats for our guest families. Cookie Crew members must be at least 16 years old. Due to the nature of our House at this time, only 2 volunteers under the age of 18 are permitted per Cookie Crew. If you are a teen (aged 16-18) interested in baking cookies, please note that you MUST have at least one adult (21+) in your group. The adult MUST serve as the cookie crew leader.

- Number of Volunteers: 6 Max
- Arrival: 4:00pm
- Departure time: 7:30pm (after cleaning is done)
- Number to feed: 40-45 (GVC will continue to update 1-2 weeks in advance)
- Plan a menu, purchase your ingredients and then use the House’s fully-stocked kitchen to prepare and serve dinner (nightly) , breakfast (weekends only), or brunch (M-F Varies based on availability) to our families.
- Dinner suggestions from families: BBQ Pork/Chicken, Enchiladas, Fried Chicken, Turkey & Dressing, Stir Fry, Hot Dogs, Pot Roast, Chicken & Dumplings, Kebabs, Sliders, Meatloaf, Chili/Soup & Grilled Cheese, Stuffed Peppers, Chicken Wings)
- You may also cater a meal and serve.

Wednesday Brunch Crews:
- Schedule: (Wednesday only) Varies based on availability
- Number of Volunteers: 6 Max
- Arrival: 10:00am
- Departure time: 1:00pm (Our after cleaning is done)
- Number to feed: 20-25 (GVC will continue to update 1-2 weeks in advance)
- Brunch suggestions from families: Tator Tot Casseroles, Bacon, Sausage, Country Ham, Biscuits & Gravy, Pancakes/Waffles, Fresh Fruit, Cinnamon Buns, Eggs, Quiche, Bagels, Omelet Bar, Muffins, Yogurt Parfaits
- You may also cater brunch and serve.
Weekend Breakfast Teams:
- Number of Volunteers: 6 Max
- Arrival: 8:00am
- Departure Time: 11:00am (or once clean up is complete)
- Number to feed: 20-25
- You may also cater breakfast and serve.
- Saturday & Sunday only

We supply the cleaning tools, and you supply the materials and the people to help! Groups will be assigned an area of the House to deep clean to keep our House safe for guest families. Contact Samira Loganathan directly to schedule cleaning crews.

- Number of Volunteers: 6 Max
- Arrival – Departure: 12:00pm-2:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm (earlier times depends on availability)

- For Wednesday night arts and crafts, you bring the craft instructions, idea, and all supplies needed. We will have scissors, colored pencils, and other basic craft supplies, but we always accept craft donations.
CASSEROLE CREWS NEEDED
- Help us feed our guest families when a meal team cancellation occurs.
- The casseroles will be frozen for future use. Having these, provides an extra layer of comfort for the staff and guests.
- We accept all types of casseroles, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.
- Casseroles must be made in a commercial kitchen. We can not accept any made from home. Otherwise, all casseroles must be made at RMHC House. Contact Samira Loganathan with questions.
